双方在第一阶段打成5-4后，凯伦-威尔逊在第二阶段开场状态不俗，连下两局，以6-5领先赵心童。第12局，双方比分交替上升，经过30多分钟的鏖战，赵心童无力追回比分，威尔逊7-5领先赵心童。随后，威尔逊再下一局，上半场结束，比分来到8-5。
下半场再战，凯伦-威尔逊延续火热状态连下2局，最终威尔逊总比分10-5战胜赵心童。
